1. Introduction

TodOne (the "App") respects your privacy and works to protect your personal information appropriately. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how that information is used.

2. Information We Collect

The App handles the following information.

  • Task data: The content of the tasks and visions you enter, their completion status, the date and time they were created, and similar information are stored locally on your device.
  • AI chat data: When you use the AI chat feature, the messages you enter, your task data, your conversation history, and other related information are sent to the servers of a third-party AI service for AI processing.
  • Device identifier and usage information: In order to provide the AI chat feature fairly and to manage usage, an anonymous device identifier that is randomly generated on first use is stored on your device, and the dates and number of times you use it are sent to and recorded on an external server. This identifier contains no information that identifies you personally.
  • Purchase information: If you purchase a paid plan (in-app purchase), an anonymous device identifier and your subscription status (the plan purchased, its expiration date, and so on) are sent to and recorded by an external subscription management service and an external server in order to manage your purchase and subscription status. The payment itself is processed by Apple, and the App does not obtain payment information such as credit card numbers.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

  • Providing the App's features and improving the service
  • Providing the AI chat feature
  • Providing the AI chat feature fairly and managing usage
  • Providing paid plans (in-app purchases) and managing purchase and subscription status
  • Diagnosing and fixing problems
  • Improving the user experience

4. Sharing with Third Parties

Except in cases based on laws and regulations, the App does not provide, sell, or share your personal information with third parties.

However, for the purpose of providing the AI chat feature and managing usage, the data you enter, along with the anonymous device identifier and usage information, is sent to external servers. In addition, for the purpose of providing paid plans, the anonymous device identifier and subscription status are sent to an external subscription management service.

5. Data Storage

All task data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, all data stored on your device (including the anonymous device identifier) is erased. When you use the AI chat feature, the related data is sent to and stored on external servers. In addition, in order to manage usage of the AI chat feature, the anonymous device identifier, the dates of use, and the number of times used are stored on an external server. If you purchase a paid plan, your subscription status (the plan purchased, its expiration date, and so on) is stored on an external server, linked to the anonymous device identifier.

6. About the AI Chat Feature

The App's AI chat feature uses a third-party AI service. When you use the chat feature, the following data is sent to that service's servers.

  • The chat messages you enter
  • Task data
  • Conversation history
  • Other related information

In addition, in order to provide the AI chat feature fairly and to manage usage, the following information is sent to and stored on an external server.

  • An anonymous device identifier (an identifier randomly generated on your device on first use, which does not identify you personally)
  • The dates of use and the number of times used

7. In-App Purchases (Subscriptions)

The App offers a paid plan (a monthly subscription) that expands your AI chat allowance. The information handled in connection with a purchase is as follows.

  • Payment is processed through Apple's in-app purchase system, and the App does not obtain or store payment information such as credit card numbers.
  • In order to manage your purchase and subscription status, an anonymous device identifier and your subscription status (the plan purchased, its expiration date, and so on) are sent to and stored by an external subscription management service and an external server. This information does not include anything that identifies you personally, such as your name or email address.
  • You can cancel or manage your subscription from Apple's subscription management screen.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be changed without prior notice. If you continue to use the App after a change, you will be deemed to have agreed to the revised policy.
